The Challenge

It’s Day 10 of the “My Body Challenge”. No slacking — keep honouring your new fitness/anti-cellulite routine! As every day from now on: don’t forget your large glass of water (ideally with lemon) and your anti-cellulite cold shower (explained on Day 4). For breakfast, mix in a bowl some 0% plain yogurt with a few apple slices, oat bran and honey, and pair it with a herbal tea. For dinner, here is a recipe for a detox celeriac, goat’s cheese and cranberry salad with orange: image Ingredients (serves 6) 1 celeriac 1 small good-quality goat’s cheese 1 green apple a handful of dried cranberries the zest of one organic orange the juice of half an organic orange the juice of one lemon extra virgin olive oil Salt & Pepper Using a peeler, remove the outer skin of the celeriac. With a mandoline, 1.5 mm blade, cut into thin slices. Place them in a bowl and immediately drizzle with lemon juice to prevent browning. Arrange the slices on the bottom of a serving dish, slightly overlapping. Slice the goat’s cheese and apple into thin strips and arrange over the celeriac. Sprinkle with cranberries and orange zest. In a bowl, whisk the orange juice with the oil to emulsify and make a vinaigrette. Drizzle the vinaigrette over the salad. Finish with a pinch of Camargue sea salt and a few turns of the pepper mill. Did you know that the pinch-and-roll massage is one of the most effective massage techniques out there? palper rouler2 The movement should always go from bottom to top to help boost circulation. Even if this technique can sometimes feel a little intense, it is remarkably effective on all types of cellulite. Remember to follow these guidelines before you start: • Always massage on skin that has been oiled beforehand. • The pinch-and-roll technique should never be used on broken or wounded skin, as it may worsen injuries and interfere with healing. • Drink at least half a litre of water after each session.
