The Challenge

It’s Day 29 of the My Body Challenge. Let’s make the most of Sunday by preparing some light yet delicious recipes! As every day from now on: don’t forget your large glass of water (ideally with lemon) and your cold anti-cellulite shower (explained on Day 4). This morning, we suggest a cookie recipe: cookies Ingredients (makes 20 cookies): – 1 egg – 100 g brown sugar – 125 g flour – 1 teaspoon baking powder – 125 g dark chocolate chips – 10 cl light cream (5% fat) Recipe method: Preheat your oven to 200°C (and take out the baking tray). In a bowl, combine the egg, sugar and light cream, then mix well. Add the flour and baking powder, mix again, then fold in the chocolate chips. Line your baking tray with parchment paper (no added fat) and drop small spoonfuls of the mixture onto it. Bake in the preheated oven at 200°C for 5 minutes and keep a close eye on them. To go alongside your breakfast or to enjoy throughout the day, here is a Red Berry Milkshake recipe: milkshake_aux_fruits_rouges Ingredients (serves 2): – 1 large glass of milk (40 cl) – 1 large glass (same size as the first) generously filled with frozen red berries (raspberries, blueberries) – optional: 2 tablespoons of sugar or sweetener (to taste…) Recipe method: Pour 1 glass of milk into a blender, add the same glass generously filled with frozen berries (they must be frozen for the right texture), and a little sugar to taste (you can adjust the sweetness as you go). Blend it all up and enjoy a smooth, refreshingly cold milkshake! Today’s exercise: Mountain Climbers mountain_climbers A cardio exercise widely recognised as highly effective by athletes! Start in a high plank position, arms fully extended. Bring one knee up towards your chest and place your foot on the floor. From this position, push off to switch your feet. The leg whose knee was at your chest extends back, while the straight leg comes forward with the knee towards your chest. Keep your shoulders low to avoid rounding your back (into dorsal kyphosis). To keep your head and neck properly aligned, don’t look at your hands — instead, look slightly diagonally forward. Pace: 15 reps + follow with 30 oblique crunches (see Day 5 if needed) Keep going, you’ve got this! Tip: 10 slimming tricks 1. Drink a warm lemon juice every morning 2. Snack on apples 3. Walk briskly for 30 minutes every day 4. Drink herbal teas 5. Replace sugar with substitutes (such as stevia) and cut back on salt 6. Do a cardio activity twice a week 7. Eat slowly and mindfully 8. Try a detox programme for a few days to cleanse your body: fruit and vegetables in abundance!! 9. Focus on fat-burning foods 10. Don’t forget to treat yourself — being too restrictive can lead to cravings 🙂

Daily palper-rouler massage

palper rouler2 To tackle cellulite, the palper-rouler is the most effective massage technique there is. This technique involves kneading the skin to stimulate lipolysis, which helps release fat from adipose cells while boosting circulation — both venous and lymphatic. These actions help combat cellulite and the orange-peel effect, as well as reducing water retention. Ideal for eliminating toxins beneath the skin, this massage can be performed using a device, by a professional, or by hand. The movement should always go from bottom to top to improve circulation. Although this technique can sometimes be uncomfortable, it is remarkably effective against all types of cellulite. A few basic principles should nonetheless be followed: The massage should always be performed on an area that has been oiled beforehand. The palper-rouler should not be performed on skin with open wounds, as this risks aggravating injuries and preventing proper healing. The CelluBlue method: Do you have a CelluBlue? Have you discovered our CelluBlue anti-cellulite cup ? This little game-changer makes the powerful palper-rouler massage technique incredibly easy to do at home to target cellulite.
