My Body Challenge – Day 17

The Challenge

It’s Day 17 of the My Body Challenge.
Stay motivated!
As every day from now on: don’t forget your large glass of water (ideally with lemon) and your cold anti-cellulite shower (explained on Day 4).
For breakfast today: 1 light Pancake (recipe from Day 7) with jam or maple syrup, a few almonds, a piece of fruit and a green tea.
For lunch, we suggest a light tuna loaf recipe:

Ingredients (serves 6):
– 1 large can of tuna (400g) (preferably tuna in spring water)
– 3 eggs
– 1 cup (240 ml) skimmed milk
– 80 g breadcrumbs OR 8 crushed crackers
– salt and pepper
Recipe preparation:
Before you start, preheat your oven to 175°C.
Flake the tuna into a mixing bowl.
Add the 3 eggs and breadcrumbs and mix well.
Add the milk and mix again – you can season with a little salt and pepper to taste and add a few herbs if you like.
Pour everything into an ungreased loaf tin and bake in the oven (at 175°C) for 45 minutes.
Tip: serve with a green salad and lemon dressing.
Today’s exercise: Ab bikes
ab-bike-crunch
Today we’re going to work your abs in just 10 minutes using the bicycle method.
The position is simple: lie on your back with your hands behind your ears, lift your legs and bend your knees.
Your left knee should come to meet your right elbow (and vice versa, right knee to left elbow). During this movement, your other leg should be extended without touching the floor. Then alternate this left/right movement.
Do 4 sets of 20 repetitions for a complete workout.

Your daily palper-rouler massage

palper rouler2
To tackle cellulite, the palper-rouler is one of the most effective massage techniques available.
This technique involves kneading the skin to stimulate lipolysis, which helps to release fat from adipose cells while boosting both venous and lymphatic circulation.
These actions help target cellulite and the orange-peel effect, as well as reducing water retention. Ideal for eliminating toxins beneath the skin, this massage can be performed using a device, by a professional, or by hand.
The movement should always go from bottom to top to improve circulation. Although this technique can sometimes be uncomfortable, it is remarkably effective against all types of cellulite. A few basic principles should be followed:
The massage should always be performed on skin that has been oiled beforehand.
The palper-rouler should not be performed on broken or wounded skin, as this could worsen injuries and interfere with healing.

The CelluBlue method:
Do you have a CelluBlue? Have you discovered our CelluBlue anti-cellulite cup ?
This little game-changer makes the powerful palper-rouler massage technique easy to do at home to help target cellulite. Results are visible in as little as 3 weeks.

Here is a video showing you how to massage with the CelluBlue:

The manual method:
This method only requires energy (a bit of elbow grease!), a little more time since it is less effective than using the cup, and some patience to get the right technique.
Watch the video below for the full method.
For today, massage each area for 10 minutes.
