To get rid of cellulite, there are many simple, natural and effective solutions. From time-honoured home remedies to dietary advice and the right daily habits, we’ve handpicked 5 tips to beat cellulite naturally! Trust us, these tips will help you rediscover beautifully smooth, firm skin in no time.
1 – Use apple cider vinegar

Here’s how to prepare the oral remedy: simply pour 2 tablespoons of apple cider vinegar into a glass of water. You can add a little honey or stevia to sweeten it. Drink this remedy every morning on an empty stomach to help detoxify your body and naturally flush out cellulite. Follow it up with a healthy, balanced breakfast!
For the topical version, the goal is to create a blend you can use as a massage to reduce cellulite and the orange-peel effect. Mix 3 parts apple cider vinegar with 2 parts argan oil, then massage into all areas affected by cellulite. Used alongside massages with the Cellublue Cup, this remedy will help smooth away your orange-peel skin!
2 – Go for grapefruit
Grapefruit can help us manage our weight and fight cellulite. It’s rich in vitamin C, a natural fat-burner that helps tackle cellulite as part of a balanced diet and regular physical activity.
You can start your day with 3 tablespoons of fresh grapefruit juice diluted in a glass of warm or hot water, with a little stevia or honey if you like.
To make the most of grapefruit’s benefits, you can also include it in your daily diet: fruit salads, fresh juices, roasted grapefruit and more. Enjoy it several times a week, and opt for pink or red varieties — they’re richer in antioxidants and vitamins!
3 – Discover the power of nettle
Nature offers us an underrated anti-cellulite solution: nettle! It’s one of those medicinal plants with remarkable benefits against dimpled skin. This plant stands out for its purifying, diuretic and anti-inflammatory properties — a powerful combination against cellulite. What’s more, beyond tackling the visible effects of cellulite, nettle also helps address some of its root causes!
This is especially true if you suffer from poor circulation, a sluggish lymphatic system or hormonal imbalances. Nettle helps eliminate toxins and supports drainage, which smooths out dimples and naturally firms the skin.
One of the easiest ways to enjoy nettle’s benefits is to brew an anti-cellulite infusion. Simply bring 1 litre of water to the boil and add 100 g of fresh nettle leaves. You can also dry the leaves first to neutralise their sting. Leave to steep for a few minutes, and it’s ready! It’s recommended to drink 2 to 3 cups of this infusion per day.
The more adventurous among us can try a “nettle cure”. This natural trick is very effective: simply steep around ten nettle leaves in a bowl of apple cider vinegar (yes, it’s back!). Then pour one tablespoon of this mixture into a glass of water and drink it once a day, preferably on an empty stomach.
And don’t forget that nettle can also be eaten directly. Just wash it, blanch it and use it in salads, purées, soups, tarts or simply as a vegetable. To beat cellulite, it’s best to tackle it from the inside as well as the outside!
4. Embrace pinch-and-roll massage
If there’s one 100% natural, ultra-effective anti-cellulite tip you shouldn’t skip, it’s this one! Pinch-and-roll massage works to break down the fatty deposits responsible for cellulite, boost blood and lymphatic circulation, and flush out accumulated toxins. Performing a proper pinch-and-roll massage by hand can be quite tricky, though… So to make sure you get your massage technique right and enjoy all its benefits, don’t hesitate to use your Cellublue Cup! Thanks to their suction effect, they effortlessly replicate the pinch-and-roll technique and help you reduce cellulite effectively.
5. Try natural anti-cellulite juices

Pineapple-ginger juice: a wonderfully simple recipe with remarkable anti-inflammatory properties! This drink helps improve circulation and combat water retention. For the best draining effect, drink a glass every morning on an empty stomach. Simply cut 2 or 3 slices of pineapple and grate about a tablespoon of fresh ginger. Prepare a decoction with the ginger and leave to steep for a few minutes. Then blend the pineapple for a vitamin boost and mix everything together!
Apple-beetroot-cucumber-carrot juice: this recipe is one of the most complete natural juices for fighting cellulite. Cucumber is excellent for the skin; beetroot and apple support the blood vessels and promote healthy circulation; and carrot cleanses the body and naturally protects against fluid retention. Together, these four vitamin-packed ingredients are a powerhouse against toxins!
Start by thoroughly washing all the ingredients; then peel them, leaving the apple skin on if it’s organic. Blend everything together (the apple, half a cucumber, the carrot and the beetroot) and add a glass of water for a smoother texture. Enjoy!
6. Try a coffee grounds treatment
Hello, eco-conscious beauty lovers! Here’s a tried-and-tested anti-cellulite tip that’s also great for the planet. Instead of throwing your coffee grounds in the bin, why not repurpose them as a scrub or an anti-cellulite wrap?
Caffeine found in coffee is a true slimming ally, as it encourages lipolysis — the breakdown of fat cells. It’s actually the key ingredient in many anti-cellulite treatments (including our Cellulite Scrub!). Easily absorbed by the skin, it would be a shame not to make the most of its benefits!
So, mix up an anti-cellulite blend using coffee grounds and a little olive oil. Step into your shower (to avoid spreading grounds all over your bathroom!) and apply your anti-cellulite recipe:
- As a daily massage: for two to three minutes, massage the targeted areas (thighs, stomach, buttocks, hips) using the pinch-and-roll technique (by hand or with a cupping cup!).
- As a weekly wrap: apply a generous layer of your mixture to the area you want to treat, then wrap it in cling film. Leave on for 20 minutes, then rinse off.
7. Call on essential oils
Did you know that certain plants are powerful allies against cellulite? They have detoxifying and draining properties that, when applied to the skin, act directly on dimples and veno-lymphatic circulation. You can absolutely harness their power to improve the orange-peel appearance of your cellulite. Simply choose a good carrier oil (some are particularly well-suited to pinch-and-roll massage) and select one or two essential oils based on their properties.
- Do you suffer from water retention and aqueous cellulite? Go for Cypress EO. Combined with Atlas Cedar oil, it works wonders on cellulite.
- Looking to detoxify and tone your skin naturally? Reach for lemon — there’s a reason our Detox Tea contains it! Mix 8 drops of lemon EO into 15 cl of sweet almond oil, and you’re all set!
- Looking for a versatile essential oil that’s both diuretic and anti-cellulite? Choose Juniper EO: 60 drops in 30 ml of natural carrier oil.
If you’d like more guidance on essential oils — which are not without side effects — don’t hesitate to consult your pharmacist. They’ll be able to advise you and help you create your own 100% natural anti-cellulite solutions!
