Girls, the weekend is almost here! How about taking a few minutes to treat your skin and try something new and natural? This week, we’re sharing two homemade body wrap recipes: one made with coffee, and one with avocado and honey. Head to the bathroom!
2 body wraps to make at home
The coffee body wrap

Ingredients:
- 2 tablespoons of olive oil
- A quarter cup of ground coffee
Method:
Did you know? Caffeine is a common ingredient in skin and body care products, and the coffee grounds give a gentle exfoliating effect. It’s also worth reading our dedicated article to understand the role of the metabolism. To make this wrap, mix the two ingredients together, then settle into your bath or shower (much easier that way!).
Apply the mixture in a thin layer over the areas of your choice: stomach, thighs, buttocks, etc. Wrap with several layers of cling film and leave the treatment on for 20 minutes. Remove the film, then rinse with cool water. Afterwards, you’ll be left with beautifully soft skin after a proper bit of me-time. The avocado and honey body wrap

Ingredients:
- ½ ripe avocado
- juice of one organic lemon
- 2 tablespoons of honey
- 2 drops of Lemongrass essential oil
- 2 drops of rose geranium essential oil
Method:
The ideal combo for pampering your skin! You’ll benefit from the nourishing texture of avocado, the sweetness of honey, the fresh scent of lemon, and the fragrance of rose geranium and Lemongrass essential oils. Simply blend all the ingredients together, settle into your bath, then apply the mixture to your skin. A quick word of caution: lemon and some essential oils can irritate the skin or make it more sensitive to the sun. Patch test the mixture on a small area first, avoid sun exposure after the treatment, and leave out the essential oils if you’re pregnant, breastfeeding or have sensitive skin.

The body cream that hydrates and helps firm the skin
- Kigeline & Fenugreek, two plant-based actives at the heart of the formula
- Hydrates the skin and helps strengthen its firmness on targeted areas
- Melting texture: it absorbs quickly, with no residue or greasy film
Wrap with cling film, leave on for 20 minutes, remove the film and rinse with cool water! These homemade wraps can be used once or twice a week, on any area of the body you choose. Don’t skip this little moment of self-care!

Frequently asked questions
Does a homemade body wrap have a slimming effect?
No. A homemade body wrap is a beauty treatment: it leaves your skin feeling soft and gives you a moment to relax, but it won’t help you lose inches. To tackle the look of cellulite, focus on pinch-and-roll massage, regular exercise and a balanced diet.
How often should I use these wraps?
Once or twice a week is plenty. Leave on for 20 minutes, then rinse with cool water.
Are essential oils suitable for everyone?
No. They can irritate sensitive skin and aren’t recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding. Always patch test on a small area first, and swap them for a neutral plant oil if in doubt.
