No eggs, no milk, no honey, no cream… You might think that making dessert as a vegan is complicated, or even impossible. But that’s simply not the case! Sure, you may need to set aside Grandma’s recipes and the great classics of traditional cooking — but there are plenty of wonderful alternatives for creating vegan desserts that are also anti-cellulite… and absolutely delicious! Crème brûlée, vegan style!

Ingredients
- 200ml almond milk
- 400ml soy cream
- 1 tsp flour
- 2 tbsp brown sugar
- 4 tsp agar agar powder
- A few drops of vanilla extract
- A little raw cane sugar
Method
- Start by pouring the almond milk into a saucepan, then add the brown sugar, flour, soy cream and a few drops of vanilla extract. Whisk together.
- Place the saucepan over medium heat and bring to a boil, stirring regularly.
- Once the mixture is boiling, add the agar agar and stir well. Bring to a boil again.
- Divide the mixture between 4 small glass jars and leave to cool at room temperature. Then refrigerate for 2 to 3 hours.
- Before serving, sprinkle a little raw cane sugar over each ramekin and caramelise with a kitchen blowtorch.
Banana, coconut & dark chocolate tapioca pearls
Serves 4
Ingredients
- 2 heaped tbsp tapioca pearls
- 250ml coconut milk
- 2 bananas
- A pinch of dark chocolate chips
Method
- Pour 500ml of water into a saucepan and bring to a boil.
- Add the tapioca pearls and cook for the time indicated on the packet.
- Add the coconut milk, reduce the heat to its lowest setting and cook for a further 5 minutes, stirring continuously.
- Remove the saucepan from the heat. Peel the bananas and slice them into rounds. Add them to the tapioca pearls and return to a very low heat for a further 5 minutes, stirring constantly to prevent the mixture from catching.
- Pour the mixture into 4 small jars, add a few chocolate chips and enjoy warm or cold.
Light chocolate mousse

Ingredients
- 150g dark chocolate (minimum 75% cocoa)
- 250ml soy cream
- 2 pinches of crushed hazelnuts
- 2 pinches of raw cane sugar
Method
- Before you begin, place the soy cream along with a mixing bowl (stainless steel if possible) in the fridge for several hours.
- Break the chocolate into pieces and melt it in the microwave with a little water.
- Meanwhile, pour the cream into the chilled bowl and use an electric hand mixer until it becomes light and very firm.
- Once the chocolate has melted, fold it gently into the bowl using a spatula.
- Add the sugar and hazelnuts, then fold in gently once more.
- Divide into 4 jars and chill for a few hours before indulging!
Slimming flan
Serves 4
Ingredients
- 1L almond milk
- 75g brown sugar
- 75g cornstarch
- A few drops of vanilla extract
- 1 vegan pastry crust (available from organic stores)
Method
- Preheat the oven to 180°C.
- Pour the almond milk, brown sugar and a few drops of vanilla extract into a saucepan. Bring to a boil over low heat, stirring regularly.
- Add the cornstarch, then continue to stir with a whisk until the mixture thickens.
- Remove the saucepan from the heat and place the pastry crust in a tart tin.
- Pour the mixture over the pastry and bake for around thirty minutes.
- Remove the flan from the oven and leave to cool at room temperature, then refrigerate. Serve well chilled!
