Today, let’s take a closer look at chia seeds… They’re all over social media as a must-have for any fitness-conscious woman! And for good reason — these tiny seeds are packed with omega-3s, antioxidants and vitamins. A powerful anti-cellulite combination that also helps you look after your figure and your overall wellbeing.

The benefits of chia seeds

Chia seeds boost your metabolism, helping your body burn fat before it has a chance to settle into cellulite or stubborn bulges. Their omega-3 content and anti-inflammatory properties also help to break down deep-seated cellulite.

These little seeds are very low in sodium, help regulate blood sugar levels and support tissue regeneration — making them ideal for limiting fat storage and smoothing out dimples!

Another key benefit: chia seeds are rich in antioxidants and vitamins that improve skin suppleness and firmness.

And the cherry on top — thanks to their high fibre content, chia seeds are well known for their appetite-suppressing effect!

In short, chia seeds have a lot going for them: they’re full of protein and fibre, rich in antioxidants, vitamins and omega-3s… A powerhouse combination that helps your body tackle cellulite. Chia is considered a “superfood”, ideal for supporting your body’s overall balance, as well as maintaining your figure and smoothing out orange-peel skin.

How to eat chia seeds?

bienfaits graines chiaThese seeds can be enjoyed in many ways: sprinkled over dishes, added to drinks, or used as an egg substitute… That said, since chia is relatively high in fat, don’t overdo it.

You can even drink a glass of chia seed water before lunch and dinner to curb your appetite if you tend to overeat: simply add 1 tablespoon of chia seeds per glass. You’ll get a fairly thick mixture that you should leave to rest for half an hour before drinking. Ideally, drink it 30 minutes before your meal.
