The Challenge

It’s Day 18 of the CelluBlue Body Challenge. Happy Monday, everyone! We hope you had a great weekend and are still feeling motivated!

As every day from now on: don’t forget your large glass of water (ideally with lemon) and your cold anti-cellulite shower (explained on Day 4).

For breakfast, on the menu: 2 slices of toasted bread with honey, a herbal tea, and a banana.

For lunch, we suggest you enjoy a delicious quinoa with vegetables recipe:

Quinoa et courgettes

Ingredients (serves 2):
200 g quinoa
4 small courgettes
400 g peas
10 sprigs of coriander
salt and pepper

Method:
Rinse the quinoa in several changes of water, then pour it into 500 ml of boiling salted water and cook for 15 minutes. Drain.
Shell the peas and plunge them into boiling salted water, cook for 10 minutes and drain.
Slice the courgettes into thin rounds after trimming the ends. Roast them in the oven for a crispy finish, or steam them.
Add the quinoa and courgettes and mix together. Stir in the peas, cook for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally, scatter with chopped coriander and serve hot.

New exercise: Plank + oblique abs

For today, a plank session to complement with sets of oblique ab exercises 🙂

The plank strengthens your abdominal muscles and back muscles. Lie face down as if you were about to start a push-up. Then hold yourself up on your forearms rather than your hands, keeping your back straight, your neck in line with your spine, and your gaze fixed straight ahead. Hold the position for 30 seconds to one minute, depending on your level, then release.
Perform several plank holds in a row, taking a few seconds’ rest in between, and try to increase the time with each attempt. (Tip: use a stopwatch for this exercise.)

Complete this exercise with 2 sets of 30 oblique ab crunches as seen on Day 5.

Your daily pinch-and-roll massage

palper rouler2

To tackle cellulite, the pinch-and-roll technique is one of the most effective massage methods out there.
This technique involves kneading the skin to stimulate lipolysis, which helps release fat from adipose cells while boosting circulation — both venous and lymphatic.
These actions help combat cellulite and the orange-peel effect, as well as reducing water retention. Ideal for eliminating toxins beneath the skin, this massage can be performed using a device, by a professional, or by hand.

The movement should always go from bottom to top to improve circulation. While this technique can sometimes be uncomfortable, it is remarkably effective against all types of cellulite. A few basic principles should be followed:

The massage should always be performed on an area that has been oiled beforehand.
The pinch-and-roll technique should never be used on broken or wounded skin, as it may worsen injuries and interfere with healing.

The CelluBlue method:

Do you have a CelluBlue? Have you discovered our CelluBlue anti-cellulite cup ?

This little game-changer makes it incredibly easy to perform the powerful pinch-and-roll massage technique to fight cellulite. Results are visible in as little as 3 weeks.

If you have a CelluBlue, massage yourself for 5 minutes today — we’ll explain how to get the most out of it in the coming days

The manual method:

This method only requires energy (elbow grease!), a little more time since it is less effective than using the cup, and a touch of patience to get the right precision.
Watch the video below for the full technique.
For today, massage each area for 10 minutes.
