Hello to the whole #CelluBlueteam! Today is your 14th day of the Fitness Challenge!

For this penultimate session, we’re going to work on your arms again!

EXERCISES

Exercise 1: Dumbbell bicep curls

For this exercise, you’ll need 2 small 2 kg dumbbells or 2 full water bottles.

Stand up straight with a dumbbell in each hand, arms hanging at your sides. Curl your forearms and hands up towards your shoulders, then lower them back down.

Repeat the exercise 15 times.

Exercise 2: Chair dips

For this exercise you’ll need a chair. Place your hands behind you on the edge of the seat. In a seated position, extend your arms while keeping your elbows slightly soft, to avoid putting too much strain on your triceps and joints. The rest of your body should follow the movement.

Bend your elbows so that your body lowers towards the floor. Keep your back close to the chair throughout.

Return to your starting position and repeat.

Repeat the exercise 15 times.

Exercise 3: Chest press with dumbbells

Keep your dumbbells for this last exercise. Bend your arms on each side to form a 90° angle and raise them to shoulder height.

Bring your forearms and elbows together in front of your face, then open them back out to return to the starting position.

Repeat the exercise 15 times.

TIPS

What sport should you choose if you don’t like the gym?

If you can’t stand the idea of going to a gym, that’s no excuse to skip exercise altogether! There are plenty of activities that let you let off steam and tone up without having to share a space with sweaty bodybuilders. Here are just a few examples — and there are many more! Try out different activities and find the one that suits you best.

  • Aqua cycling
  • Yoga
  • Zumba
  • Team sports (football, basketball)
