Let’s be honest, ladies — used on their own, body care products won’t completely eliminate cellulite… But paired with pinch-and-roll massages, they become powerful allies in the fight against orange-peel skin! Natural, quick and easy to make, and a pleasure to use, we’re sharing 3 anti-cellulite cream recipes for a dream body. Time to lock yourself in the bathroom and treat yourself…

Anti-Cellulite Cream #1: The Coffee Recipe

crème anti-cellulite café

The caffeine in coffee helps break down fat cells and slows the storage of glucose as fat. Green tea is well known for its slimming and draining properties. And clay helps detoxify the body, draw out impurities, and leave skin smooth, radiant, and healthy!

Ingredients

  • 3 tablespoons of coffee grounds
  • 1 cup of green tea
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons of green clay (ventilated, preferably)

Method

  1. Mix the coffee grounds with the green tea. Then add the olive oil and clay, whisking well until you get a smooth, creamy texture.
  2. Apply the mixture to cellulite-prone areas using circular massage movements and leave on for about twenty minutes before rinsing off with cool water.

Use up the entire batch, as this cream does not keep!

The Essential Oil Anti-Cellulite Cream

crème anti-cellulite huiles essentielles

Lemongrass oil tones the skin, boosts its elasticity, helps break down fat, and stimulates blood circulation. Grapefruit promotes better fat breakdown, aids elimination, and firms the skin. Cypress supports drainage and, like lemongrass, activates blood circulation. Palmarosa helps improve overall skin quality. Finally, cedarwood acts as a toning lymphatic decongestant. In short, an ultra-effective anti-cellulite combination! Be careful not to apply this cream before sun exposure.

Ingredients

  • Lemongrass essential oil
  • Grapefruit essential oil
  • Cypress essential oil
  • Palmarosa essential oil
  • Cedarwood essential oil
  • 50ml of neutral moisturising cream

Method

Nothing too complicated here… In the bottom of a small airtight jar, start by adding 20 drops of each essential oil. Then whisk the blend, gradually incorporating a spoonful of moisturising cream at a time. Once you have a smooth, even mixture, seal the jar and store it in a cool place for up to twenty days.

The Moisturising Anti-Cellulite Cream

crème anti-cellulite hydratante

Many of us find our skin dries out in autumn — thanks to the cold, humidity, clothing friction, or skincare that isn’t suited to the season. To restore soft, smooth, cellulite-free skin, here’s an easy moisturising anti-dimple cream recipe you can make at home.

Ingredients

  • 60ml water
  • 25ml avocado oil (or another vegetable oil of your choice)
  • 5 drops of grapefruit essential oil
  • 3 tsp emulsifying wax (easily found in health food stores or online)

Method

  1. Heat water in a large saucepan
  2. Place a small bowl in the saucepan (double boiler method), add all the ingredients and stir until the wax has melted and the mixture is smooth
  3. Remove the bowl from the double boiler and continue stirring for a few seconds
  4. Place the bowl in cold water to help the mixture thicken further, stirring regularly
  5. That’s it — simply pour your cream into a jar and seal it tightly!
