The Challenge
This is Day 31 of the “CelluBlue Body Challenge”.
As every day from now on: don’t forget your large glass of water (ideally with lemon) and your anti-cellulite cold shower (explained on Day 4).
For our last day together on the CelluBlue Body Challenge, we decided to share the recipe for the famous bowl cake, which is all the buzz right now across social media. You’ve surely heard of this new express cake — super easy to make in the morning, ready in 3–4 minutes, and on top of that… it’s actually balanced!!! Yes, really 🙂
Here are the ingredients you’ll need, for 1 serving:
• 40g rolled oats
• 3 tablespoons of flavoured milk of your choice (soy, almond, coconut, hazelnut…)
• 1 egg
• 1 teaspoon baking powder
• 1 teaspoon sugar, honey or vanilla extract (optional, to taste)
Method:
In a bowl, mix all the ingredients together until you get a smooth batter. You can add a few extras like chocolate chips to round out your mix.
Microwave for a few minutes (approximately 2 to 5 minutes).
Leave to cool for a few minutes before turning out.
Top with your choice of toppings and enjoy.
Here are a few topping ideas for your future bowl cakes:
– Fruit galore: berries (strawberries, raspberries, blueberries), kiwi, banana, orange, mango
– Almonds, walnuts, hazelnuts, shredded coconut, cocoa powder, goji berries
– Figs, dates, raisins
– Chocolate chips: mix them into your batter before cooking, or simply sprinkle them on top afterwards
