To keep up a body care routine when you work irregular hours, link your cream to your usual shower rather than to a fixed time. When you get home from work or after you wake up, keep the same sequence: shower, dry your skin, apply the cream, then get dressed or rest. Your care routine follows your real day, even when it starts in the afternoon.
Here are two schedules: one for a fixed night shift and one for a rotating 3-shift pattern. They are examples of personal organisation. The times can fit your habits, while the application method remains the one recommended for the product.
The best cue is your actual shower, not “morning” or “evening”
A reminder set for 8 pm might fall during your shift, commute or rest period, depending on your rota. “After my shower” is easier to maintain when your working hours change.
Choose a shower you already take rather than adding one just to fit in your skincare. If you shower when you get home from work, connect your moisturising step to that moment. If you prefer to shower after waking up, keep that order instead.
Our morning routine covers more steps. Here, you do not need to follow a complete programme: the goal is simply to give your moisturiser a consistent place in your routine, whatever time appears on the clock.
Schedule 1: a fixed night shift from 10 pm to 6 am
In this example, you get home at around 7 am and shower before going to sleep. This is when you apply your care product, even though the rest of your household may be starting the day.
| Time | Suggested routine |
|---|---|
| 10 pm–6 am: night shift | Leave the cream at home if you do not need it at work. |
| Around 7 am: shower after work | Dry your skin, apply the cream all over your body using circular movements, and massage until fully absorbed. |
| After waking up | If you also shower at this time, you can apply the cream a second time, depending on your preference. |
If you only shower after waking up
Move your skincare step to your shower. For example, if you wake up at around 3 pm, moisturise after this shower and before getting dressed. You do not need to keep a 7 am slot simply because it matches the time you finish your shift.
Unlike an evening routine before bed, which includes targeted night care, this schedule is simply about using a daily moisturiser. Applying it before daytime rest is a practical choice, not an attempt to achieve a particular effect while you sleep.
-26%The cordless massager: 2 900 rotations per minute to stimulate your skin
- A deep mechanical massage: rotations and vibrations, up to 2 900 turns per minute, knead the skin on your thighs, stomach, arms and bottom
- 2 complementary heads: the ball head kneads deep down, then the wave head smooths and tones the surface
- 5 intensity levels on a touchscreen, a blue light, cordless and quiet
Schedule 2: a rotating 3-shift pattern
With shifts from 6 am to 2 pm, 2 pm to 10 pm and 10 pm to 6 am, one fixed application time rarely works for all three rotations. In this second example, you use your post-work shower as the cue, while the time changes.
| Shift | Usual shower in this example | When to apply your care |
|---|---|---|
| 6 am–2 pm | Around 3 pm, after getting home | After drying your skin and before getting dressed. |
| 2 pm–10 pm | Around 11 pm, after getting home | After drying your skin and before resting. |
| 10 pm–6 am | Around 7 am, after getting home | After drying your skin and before resting. |
If you usually shower before work, simply reverse the arrangement: keep “shower before the shift, then apply the cream” for all three rotations. The times in the table are there to show how the routine can work; they are not meant to dictate when you shower or go to bed.
What changes between a fixed night shift and a 3-shift rota?
With a fixed night shift, the same cue usually comes at roughly the same time. With a 3-shift rota, the sequence stays the same but the time moves. The main point to check is the change from one rotation to another, when your post-work shower may move or be replaced by a shower after waking up.
For example, after taking your last shower at 11 pm during an afternoon shift, you move to the night shift and now shower after waking up, at around 5 pm. Apply your care product after this actual shower instead of automatically waiting until 11 pm. The product instructions allow daily use in the morning, evening or both, so changing shifts does not, by itself, mean you need an extra application.
One cream, with the same application method
Crème Hydratante Monoï can be your only moisturising step. Its product instructions recommend applying it every day over the whole body, using circular movements, on clean, dry skin. Massage until fully absorbed.
The instructions state that it can be used “morning, evening or both”. You can therefore choose one daily application for your routine without presenting this choice as a limitation imposed by the manufacturer. A second application is also possible.
According to the same instructions, its melting texture absorbs quickly and does not leave a greasy feel. Use complete absorption as your cue before getting dressed, without imposing a specific waiting time on yourself. Its role is to moisturise the skin every day.
At home or at work: make storage easier
If you shower at home, keep the cream near your toiletries, away from heat and light. If you shower at work, a toiletry bag containing the product and your usual essentials can save you from having to look for your skincare at the last minute.
When transporting the product, do not leave it in a car exposed to sunlight or near a heat source. The instructions reserve its use for adults and advise avoiding contact with the eyes. If contact occurs, rinse thoroughly with clean water.
On busy days, simplify optional steps rather than changing the application method. If you want to organise other body care steps, our anti-cellulite routine guide covers a broader programme that is separate from this daily moisturising routine.
Frequently asked questions
What if I take two showers?
The instructions allow use in the morning, evening or both. You can apply the cream after each shower on clean, dry skin, or keep just one shower as the cue for your daily care.
What should I do on days off?
Keep the link with your usual shower, even if it takes place at a different time. You do not need to return to a “morning” or “evening” slot on those days.
What if my shower time changes during a rotation?
Move your care step with it. If your usual cue disappears that day, choose another time when your skin is clean and dry, without creating an extra session solely to make up for the change in working hours.
