Lucky enough to not have any weight to lose, but looking to maintain a stable weight? In that case, there are just a few essential dietary basics to know for staying slim. It’s really about building healthy lifestyle habits to make sure the scales don’t yo-yo. And, because we’re all about sharing, we’re also throwing in some tips that will not only help you keep your figure, but also help you say goodbye to cellulite!
To stay slim, think ahead and prep your meals
To keep your figure, there’s no getting around it — you absolutely need to avoid grabbing a quick bite at the nearest fast food joint! Once in a while is fine, but if it becomes a habit, the effects will show sooner than you think… A healthy lunch starts before your midday break, when you’re preparing your meal. If you can, we highly recommend bringing your lunch box to work. This simple habit will save you from popping into the corner bakery or, worse, the fast food place — the quick and cheap option! By planning your meal ahead, you ensure a healthy, balanced lunch that’s good for your figure. For a wholesome, anti-cellulite meal, make a habit of including foods known for their smoothing properties, such as cucumber, red pepper, apples, berries, or plain fromage blanc.
To stay slim, take your time eating

To stay slim, eat enough
Every meal matters, from breakfast to dinner. They should be balanced and satisfying — a small green salad or a single slice of ham simply won’t cut it! Don’t be fooled: meals that are too light won’t help you lose weight. They’ll only encourage snacking, which can lead to weight gain. Ideally, a meal that supports a slim figure should include a plate made up of half cooked vegetables, a quarter wholegrains, and a quarter plant or animal protein. You can round it out with a piece of fruit and a plant-based yoghurt, which is often easier to digest than regular dairy yoghurt.
That said, eating enough doesn’t mean piling your plate high! Start with a reasonable portion and stick to it.

To stay slim, put a stop to snacking
Snacking is one of the fastest ways to gain weight and let cellulite take hold. When we snack, we often eat without real hunger — out of stress, boredom, or tiredness… In those moments, our body doesn’t need the extra calories, so it stores them. And stored fat means… cellulite! So when a craving strikes, reach for a large glass of lemon water, or an anti-cellulite herbal tea, to help curb your appetite! And if you really can’t resist, snack smart: a banana, an apple, a slice of lean ham, some almonds, a handful of dried fruit, and so on.
And to stay slim, get moving after eating
