Hey ladies,
For this new day, let’s start breakfast with a slice of ham, a plain yogurt with a little muesli, and your drink of choice.
Pack an apple for your mid-day snack (11am or 4pm).

TODAY’S RECIPE

Today we’re sharing a recipe to make a zucchini flan.

Ingredients (serves 4):
3 zucchinis
6 eggs
1 onion
1 garlic clove
100g light cream cheese spread
1 heaped tablespoon of oat bran
Preparation:
Trim the ends off the zucchinis and slice or dice them.
Peel and finely chop the garlic and onion.
In a non-stick pan with no added fat, cook the garlic and onion, then add the zucchinis, thyme, and a pinch of salt and pepper.
Cook for 15 minutes, stirring regularly.
Preheat the oven to 210°C (fan 190°C).
In a mixing bowl, beat the eggs with the cream cheese and oat bran. Add the zucchinis, mix well, then divide everything into silicone ramekins (or a terrine dish).
Bake for 20 minutes (30 to 40 minutes for a terrine). Check doneness by inserting the tip of a knife — it should come out clean.
Leave to cool slightly before turning out.

Today’s exercise: push-ups

1- Get into a plank position, but this time, support yourself on your hands with your arms fully extended.
2- Keeping your back straight, lower yourself until your chest just grazes the floor, in a controlled movement. Inhale on the way down.
3- Keeping your core properly engaged, push back up until your arms are fully extended. Exhale on the way up.
Tip: vary the width of your hand placement — the closer your hands are together, the more you’ll work the inner chest.
The wider apart they are, the more you’ll target the outer chest. Mixing it up also keeps your workout from feeling repetitive!
Fitness challenge: complete 3 sets of 10 reps. Feeling extra motivated? Go for a 4th set!
