Ready to make him fall even more in love? Why not kick things off with a special Valentine’s Day cocktail? Here’s our recipe for a sparkling love potion — guaranteed to dazzle him from the very first sip!

Ingredients:

  • 200g of frozen red berries
  • 2 tbsp agave syrup
  • 1 bottle of sparkling white wine
  • 1 bottle of sparkling water
  • 1 lime
  • 1 tsp ground ginger

How to make this delicious cocktail?

Start by placing a few frozen red berries into your finest champagne flutes. They’ll act as both decoration and ice cubes.

Pop them in the freezer.

Next, blend the red berries with the agave syrup, the juice of one lime, and the ginger.

When ready to serve, fill your flutes halfway with this mixture, then top up to three-quarters with sparkling wine. Stir gently.

Finally, fill the rest of the flute with sparkling water.

There you have it — a fresh, bubbly cocktail to enjoy with your loved one!

Valentine’s Day starter: Fresh cheese vegetable rolls

entree saint valentin recette

To keep impressing your valentine, here’s a starter idea that’s simple, light and utterly irresistible — guaranteed to tantalise his taste buds.

Ingredients:

  • 1 courgette
  • 1 carrot
  • ½ bell pepper (optional)
  • 1 small pot of fresh cheese (such as chavrou)
  • 1 tbsp honey

How to prepare this starter?

Wash the courgette and cut it in half lengthways. Peel the carrot. Using a vegetable peeler, slice both the courgette and carrot into thin ribbons.

In a bowl, mix the fresh cheese with the honey. Spread this mixture onto one side of each vegetable ribbon.

Gently roll the ribbons up. You can secure them with a cocktail stick.

If you’d like to add the bell pepper, wash it and cut it into thin strips, then carefully tuck them into the centre of each roll.

Enjoy!
