The challenge
As every morning when you wake up, drink your large glass of water (with or without lemon) to detoxify your body, alongside a balanced breakfast.
This morning we suggest: 2 slices of wholegrain bread (or multigrain) + honey or jam + a freshly squeezed orange juice.
On the menu for lunch today, sautéed tofu with broccoli.

Ingredients (serves 4) :
1/2 cup (155 ml) water + 2 tbsp
1/4 cup (60 ml) natural peanut butter
2 tbsp (30 ml) hoisin sauce
2 tbsp (30 ml) rice vinegar or cider vinegar
1/4 tsp (1 ml) Tabasco sauce
1 tbsp (15 ml) vegetable oil
1 package firm tofu, drained and cut into 1-inch (2.5 cm) cubes (425 g)
2 green onions, chopped
2 garlic cloves, finely chopped
3 cups (750 ml) broccoli florets, stalks peeled and chopped
1 red bell pepper, sliced
1/4 cup (60 ml) fresh coriander, chopped
Preparation :
1. In a small bowl, mix 125 ml of the water with the peanut butter, hoisin sauce, rice vinegar and Tabasco sauce.
2. In a large frying pan, heat the oil over medium-high heat.
Add the tofu, green onions and garlic and cook, stirring, for 3 minutes (or until the tofu is golden).
3. Add the broccoli and bell pepper and cook, stirring, for 1 minute.
4. Add the remaining water, cover and continue cooking for 1 minute or until the broccoli is tender but still crisp.
5. Add the reserved peanut butter sauce and cook, stirring, for 1 minute or until heated through. Sprinkle with coriander to taste.
Exercise of the day:

Today we’re moving on to a new exercise to work your stomach and abs as well. During this exercise, you’ll be working in two different positions :
Basic crunches: lie on your back with your hands crossed behind your head or resting on your chest. Legs on the floor, bent and supported. Engage your abs, lift your shoulders and rise while keeping your back perfectly straight (be careful not to strain your back!). Lower yourself back down slowly and repeat.
Dynamic crunches: lie on your back, knees bent, arms stretched upward. Push your hands upward while lifting your chest off the floor. When performed correctly, these are remarkably effective!

It is very important for proper coaching follow-up that you validate each step, every day. This allows your coach to make sure you’re still following the challenge correctly.
