Grand Challenge 2015 – Day 29

Semoule abricot

The challenge

Just a few days left before the end of January — and the end of our Grand Challenge 2015!

On today’s menu for breakfast, have 1 or 2 slices of wholegrain bread with jam and a green tea (or a coffee).

And don’t forget your morning routine: as soon as you get up, drink a large glass of lemon water, and in the shower, finish with a cool (or cold, for the brave ones) jet of water on your legs.

For lunch today, it’s a couscous with chickpeas, dried apricots and toasted almonds.

Ingredients (serves 4)
• 240 g couscous
• 1 can (265 g) chickpeas
• 8 dried apricots
• 50 g flaked almonds
• 1/2 bunch of coriander
• 3 tbsp olive oil
• 1 vegetable stock cube
• salt, pepper

Preparation – 20 minutes – Cooking 12 minutes – Easy

STEP 1
Bring the same volume of water as couscous to the boil.
Add the vegetable stock cube.
Pour the couscous into a large bowl.
Add the olive oil. Stir.
Pour over the stock. Cover. Leave to swell for 10 minutes.

Today’s exercise: The Roll-Up

Position
Lie on your back, arms out to the sides, palms flat on the floor, arms in line with your shoulders.
Movement
Bend your knees, feet crossed. Engage your core and bring your knees towards your chest. Lift your lower back off the floor, hold your breath and hold for 10 seconds. Slowly lower back down and repeat.
Sequence duration
3 sets of 8 to 10 repetitions.
Tip
Draw your stomach in on the inhale to press your lower back into the floor. Keep your head straight throughout.

Today’s pinch-and-roll massage session

We’re focusing once again on the pinch-and-roll technique, which is the most important exercise of the entire challenge. Some of you have let the coach know that you haven’t been doing your pinch-and-roll massage every day
No pinch-and-roll = no results at the end of the challenge

So don’t forget to complement your diet and exercise efforts with the pinch-and-roll massage every day or every other day, following our targeted exercise routine to tone up and break down the fat cells responsible for cellulite. You’ll quickly notice the benefits of these new daily habits!

As you know, the pinch-and-roll is the most effective massage technique there is.
The movement should always go from bottom to top to boost circulation. Even if the technique can be a little uncomfortable at times, it is remarkably effective against all types of cellulite.
Please remember to follow these guidelines before you start:

• Always massage on skin that has been oiled beforehand.
• The pinch-and-roll should never be performed on broken or wounded skin, as this could worsen injuries and interfere with healing.
• Drink at least half a litre of water after each session.

For those of you who have a CelluBlue cup, do a CelluBlue session this evening 🙂

A quick reminder on how to use your CelluBlue :
1. Oil the areas of your body affected by cellulite.
2. Pinch CelluBlue between your fingers to expel the air.
3. Apply CelluBlue to the cellulite area and release — your skin is then drawn into the cup.
4. Begin the massage: make targeted upward movements (for 3 minutes), side-to-side movements (for 1 minute), then circular movements (for 1 minute). Feel free to adjust the suction intensity by pinching CelluBlue more or less firmly.
5. After your session, remember to drink half a litre of still water.

Do you have a CelluBlue? Have you discovered our CelluBlue anti-cellulite cup ?

This revolutionary little device makes the powerful pinch-and-roll massage technique incredibly easy to do at home to fight cellulite. Results are visible in just 3 weeks.
