The challenge
On the menu today for breakfast, some light pancakes (using the DAY 3 recipe), served with a 0% fat yoghurt and a large glass of freshly squeezed juice.
Tip : on Sunday evening or one evening during the week, when you have some time, make a batch of pancakes using our recipe to cover 2 or 3 breakfasts. It saves you time in the morning, helps you stick to a healthy breakfast, and keeps you going until lunch 🙂
And as every morning, don’t forget your large glass of lemon water and a cool jet of water in the shower (or cold, for the brave ones) over your legs.
For lunch today, we suggest a lentil salad:
Why add lentils to the menu?
They are among the most digestible of all legumes. In a salad with a lightly mustard-seasoned dressing, they are simply delicious. Combined with rice and a few vegetables, they make a protein-rich, low-fat vegetarian dish. And above all, their dietary fibre content is exceptional.
Ingredients for 4 people
• 250 g blonde lentils
• 200 g cherry tomatoes
• 2 carrots
• 1 onion
• 3 tbsp olive oil
• 1 tbsp sherry vinegar
• salt, pepper
Preparation steps
1. Rinse the lentils, then drain them. Place them in a saucepan and cover with cold water (about twice their volume). Cover and bring to the boil over medium heat. Simmer gently for 45 min. Drain and leave to cool.
2. Meanwhile, peel and finely chop the onion. Rinse and chop the tomatoes and carrots.
3. Place the cooled lentils in a salad bowl. Add the tomatoes, carrots, onion, oil and vinegar, and mix well. Keep chilled until ready to serve.
Today’s exercise: Love handles
Ladies, with today’s exercise you’re going to say goodbye to your love handles !
Position
Standing, legs apart, feet about one metre from each other, arms relaxed at your sides.
Movement
Lean your torso to one side, pushing your hand as far down as possible along your body (to your knee or below)
Sequence duration
Hold the position for 6 deep inhales and exhales, then straighten up using your obliques. Complete 2 sets of 15 movements on each side.
Tip
Do not tilt your upper body forwards or backwards. You should feel the stretch at the waist, on the side opposite to the bend.
Today’s pinch-and-roll massage session
We’re focusing once again on the pinch-and-roll massage, which is the most important exercise in the entire challenge. Some of you have let the coach know that you haven’t been doing your pinch-and-roll massage every day
No pinch-and-roll = no results at the end of the challenge
So don’t forget to complement your diet and exercise efforts with the pinch-and-roll massage every day or every other day, following our targeted exercise routine to tone up and break down the fat cells responsible for cellulite. You’ll quickly notice the benefits of these new daily habits!
As you know, the pinch-and-roll is the most effective massage technique there is.
The movement should always go from bottom to top to improve circulation. Although this technique can sometimes be uncomfortable, it is remarkably effective against all types of cellulite.
Please remember to follow these guidelines before you begin:
• The massage should always be performed on an area that has been oiled beforehand.
• The pinch-and-roll should never be performed on broken skin, as this could worsen injuries and impair healing.
• You should drink at least half a litre of water after each session.
