Grand Challenge 2015 – Day 11

Femme bonnes résolutions

The challenge

On this Sunday morning, day 11 of the challenge, we’re suggesting a kiwi and banana milk detox smoothie to go with your breakfast.
Did you know that kiwi contains more vitamin C than an orange?

For your detox smoothie you will need:
2 ripe kiwis
200 ml coconut milk
1 banana
Mint leaves (optional)

Peel the kiwis and banana and cut them into pieces.
Pour the coconut milk into a blender.
Add the fruit and blend!

For an extra refreshing touch, you can add two or three mint leaves if you like.

Today’s exercise:

Did you know that skipping rope can help reduce the appearance of cellulite? Here are 10 great reasons to pick up a skipping rope:

Skipping rope engages every muscle in your body. It’s a complete full-body workout.

Skipping rope is done in sets of 2 to 3 minutes over a total session of 15 to 30 minutes. Between each set, short breaks of around 20 seconds allow your body to adapt to the repetitive impact and catch its breath.

During a skipping session, your legs work hard. The result: calves become more toned and thighs more sculpted. Beyond the legs, this activity also engages the upper body. In fact, every jump activates your core and abdominal muscles.

Regular skipping sessions will help you quickly tone your legs, back and abs, building definition without adding bulk!

Practised consistently, skipping delivers surprisingly fast results.

Did you know that 15 minutes of skipping has the same health benefits as 30 minutes of jogging or 45 minutes of skiing? It’s far more demanding than it looks, and keeping it up for 15 consecutive minutes is no easy feat 🙂
This exercise improves coordination, timing and agility, while building endurance.

You can take your skipping rope anywhere!

Convinced? Grab your ropes today 🙂

Also, don’t forget: 20 minutes of the manual method or 5 minutes of the CelluBlue method today for your palper-roulé — head back to Day 10. Make sure you’ve fully mastered the technique.

Extra

No extra today — the palper-roulé is the priority today, and you already have plenty of exercises to get through this weekend.

Validation step

It’s very important for your coaching progress that you validate each step every day. This allows your coach to make sure you’re still on track with the challenge.

Validating each day also gives you the chance to enter our grand prize draw to win a trip to the Seychelles — extra motivation to keep going!
