Hello ladies,
It’s Day 5 of the 2016 Challenge: Eat, Move, Change! We’re not giving up 🙂
We hope you’re feeling great and ready to keep going this week 🙂
Have you had your big glass of warm lemon juice to detox your body? This should now be part of your daily routine 🙂
For breakfast today, go for a freshly squeezed orange to load up on vitamins, paired with a fromage blanc. You can enjoy your fromage blanc plain or add a little honey and/or dried fruits (almonds, hazelnuts, raisins…) for a healthy and indulgent yoghurt!
TODAY’S RECIPE
For lunch or dinner today, the recipe is: a quinoa salad
Ingredients – serves 4:
1 cup quinoa
1/2 cucumber
2 tomatoes
20 mint leaves
1 shallot
Olive oil
Lemon juice
Salt
Recipe method:
Cook the quinoa for 15 minutes in boiling water. Once cooked, cool it down by rinsing under cold water and leave it to drain in a colander.
While the quinoa is cooking, rinse the tomatoes, remove the seeds and any juice, then dice them into very small cubes.
Peel the half cucumber, remove the seeds and dice it into small cubes as well.
Finely chop the mint and the shallot.
Toss all the vegetables together with the cooled quinoa.
Season with lemon juice, a pinch of salt and olive oil!
Today’s exercise: feet crunch!

The perfect exercise to work your core, tone and strengthen your legs.
Lie on your back with your arms resting on the floor behind your head, palms facing outward.
Press your legs together and raise them up, keeping them straight.
Extend your arms and try to touch your toes with your hands. As you do this movement, exhale deeply.
Slowly lower your torso back down and bring your arms back to the starting position.
As you do this, inhale deeply. Repeat.
Fitness challenge: complete 3 sets of 20 reps.
Today’s tip: foods to avoid
As we’ve already mentioned, you can eat everything in reasonable amounts — we all know deep down what causes weight gain…

To help you reach your goal, keep in mind that certain foods are best avoided (or consumed in moderation), such as:
– Pastries and croissants
– Sweets and sugary treats
– Sodas and sugary fizzy drinks
– Alcohol
– Packaged fruit juices
– White bread
– Ready meals and convenience foods
– Processed meats
Etc. Nothing groundbreaking, but remember that there is nothing better than getting into the kitchen and trying things out for yourself.
At the weekend, have fun in the kitchen and try out new recipes!
