CelluBlue Body Challenge – Day 17

Fesses

The challenge

It’s Day 17 of the CelluBlue Body Challenge. Let’s make the most of Sunday with an amazing breakfast 🙂

As every day from now on: don’t forget your large glass of water (ideally with lemon) and your cold anti-cellulite shower (explained on Day 4).

For breakfast, we’re sharing the recipe for coconut energy balls – easy, sugar-free and gluten-free

Ingredients for 15–20 pieces

1 cup of nuts: go for a mix of almonds and walnuts. (Feel free to vary the mix to your taste: raisins, cranberries…)
1/2 cup of desiccated coconut
1 cup of pitted dried dates
1 tbsp agave syrup
1 or 2 tbsp mineral water
A little desiccated coconut for coating

Method
Place all the ingredients in a food processor and blend.
At this stage, you can add a little water to achieve the right consistency for shaping the balls.
Once your mixture is ready, roll it into equal-sized balls, then coat them in desiccated coconut.
Store the balls in an airtight container in the fridge for up to one week.

New exercise: burpees!

burpee

1. Stand upright with your feet slightly wider than shoulder-width apart.
2. Lower yourself as if performing a squat and place your palms flat on the floor in front of your feet.
3. Jump your legs back into a plank position. Your body should be completely straight, with your shoulders, hips and heels aligned.
4. Keeping your core engaged, perform a push-up, bringing your chest as close to the floor as possible.
5. To come back up, jump your feet towards your hands, then leap into the air! Keep your heels on the floor before returning to the squat position.
6. Jump up, reaching your hands as high as possible above your head. Your legs should be straight and your entire body aligned.

Your daily palper-rouler massage

palper rouler2

To tackle cellulite, the palper-rouler is the most effective massage technique available.
This technique involves kneading the skin to stimulate lipolysis, which helps release fat from adipose cells while boosting both venous and lymphatic circulation.
These actions help combat cellulite and the orange-peel effect, as well as reducing water retention. Ideal for eliminating toxins beneath the skin, this massage can be performed using a device, by a professional, or by hand.

The movement should always go from bottom to top to improve circulation. Although this technique can sometimes be uncomfortable, it is remarkably effective against all types of cellulite. A few basic principles should be followed:

The massage should always be performed on skin that has been oiled beforehand.
The palper-rouler should never be performed on broken or wounded skin, as this could worsen injuries and interfere with healing.

The CelluBlue method:

Do you have a CelluBlue? Have you discovered our CelluBlue anti-cellulite cup ?

The manual method:

This method only requires energy (elbow grease!), a little more time since it is less effective than using the cup, and a touch of patience to master the right technique.
Watch the video below for the full method.
For today, massage each area for 10 minutes.
