The Challenge

It’s Day 14 of the “CelluBlue Body Challenge”. Let’s make the most of this day off to get back in shape!

As every day from now on: don’t forget your large glass of water (ideally with lemon) and your cold anti-cellulite shower (explained on Day 4).

For breakfast, prepare a fruit bowl with the leftover skewers from yesterday, or go for 2 slices of wholegrain bread with honey + a draining herbal tea

For lunch, here is the recipe for a homemade guacamole!

Ingredients
2 ripe avocados
1/2 lemon
2 plain 0% fat yoghurts
spices: cumin, paprika, salt and pepper
(optional: cherry tomatoes)

Preparation
Cut your two avocados in half, remove the stones, then scoop out the flesh with a tablespoon.
In a large bowl, mash the flesh of both avocados with a fork until you get a smooth mixture with a few chunks.
Add the juice of half a lemon to prevent the mixture from oxidising.
Then add a little cumin, paprika, and finally a pinch of salt and pepper.
To make your guacamole creamy and light, stir in 1 or 2 plain 0% fat yoghurts and mix everything together again.

If you like, you can add a few cherry tomatoes, diced, to your guacamole.

Refrigerate for about 30 minutes to let the flavours develop.

Serve your homemade guacamole alongside chicken breast. If you prefer, pan-fry your chicken with no added fat to give it a light golden colour.

New exercise: Leg Raises

This exercise is an excellent way to work your abdominal muscles.

YOUR POSITION:
– Lie on your back with your legs extended in front of you. (If you have back problems, fold a towel and place it under the curve of your lower back, just above your hips.) Keep your arms and hands flat on the floor.
– Straighten your legs and raise them, keeping your toes pointed towards the ceiling. Your thighs should be perpendicular to your body, with your shins parallel to the floor.
– Then lower your legs back down to 1 cm above the floor without touching it, then raise them again.
Breathe steadily between each movement and engage your core — the motion of your legs should come solely from the strength of your abdominals.

PACE:
Try to complete 3 sets of 5 reps with 30 seconds of rest between each set.”

Your daily palper-rouler massage

To beat cellulite, the palper-rouler is the most effective massage technique there is.

The massage should always be performed on skin that has been oiled beforehand.
The palper-rouler should never be performed on broken or wounded skin, as this could worsen injuries and interfere with proper healing.
