Let’s take a look at the main issues and side effects you might experience!
I’m getting bruises after my massages — what should I do?
If you have skin that bruises easily, small bruises may appear, especially during the first sessions. These minor bruises can also occur if you press too hard with your cup. This is common and the bruises will fade within a few days. To prevent them from appearing, make sure you follow the steps for using the cup correctly. If your skin is very sensitive and bruises too easily, we recommend spacing your sessions 48 hours apart.
I’m experiencing redness and/or itching after my massages — what should I do?
Redness appearing is completely normal, and happens at almost every session. The Cellublue Anti-Cellulite Cup stimulates circulation and boosts blood flow, which results in redness. The itching sensation is also linked to this effect. Redness and mild tingling disappear within a few minutes of your session.
Tip : run a stream of cold water upwards from your feet to your buttocks! The invigorating effect will make you forget all about the tingling.
I’m noticing broken blood capillaries — what should I do?
If you think you can see blood capillaries or small vessels appearing, stop your massages immediately.
This reaction may be caused by incorrect product use, insufficient oil, or excessive pressure.
We recommend stopping massages for 3 weeks and then consulting your doctor if the problem persists.
I’m noticing stretch marks appearing — what should I do?
The Cellublue Anti-Cellulite Cup cannot cause stretch marks to appear. Stretch marks are caused by hormonal changes (puberty, pregnancy…), significant weight fluctuations, or the use of certain medications.
We strongly advise against using the Anti-Cellulite Cup if you have recent stretch marks (pink or purple in colour). If your stretch marks are older (usually white in colour), you can use the Cellublue Cup while avoiding the affected area.
I’m noticing varicose veins appearing — what should I do?
If you have varicose veins or any other blood or vascular condition, you should not use the Cellublue Anti-Cellulite Cup. When used correctly, the cup cannot cause varicose veins. If you notice small burst blood vessels, stop using it and seek medical advice. This capillary issue may be linked to incorrect product use: back-and-forth movements, insufficient oil, excessive pressure…
