The Challenge
This is Day 29 of the CelluBlue Body Challenge.
As every day from now on: don’t forget your large glass of water (ideally with lemon) and your cold anti-cellulite shower (explained on Day 4).
Here’s a breakfast idea: 2 organic rice cakes with 1 tsp of jam (your choice) + a green tea + an apple
Here are a few light and original ideas for a healthy aperitif with friends: (serves 4)
1. Cucumber cake pops
Ingredients:
• 1 cucumber
• 1 large tub of cream cheese (such as Saint Morêt)
• ½ bunch of chives
• salt, pepper
Method:
– Wash the cucumber. Cut it into sections of about 10 cm. Hollow out the centre of each section using an apple corer.
– Rinse, dry and finely chop the chives.
– Beat the cream cheese in a bowl with the chives, salt and pepper.
– Fill the cucumber sections with this mixture.
– Cut the sections into slices about 8 mm thick.
– Skewer each slice on a cocktail stick and refrigerate until ready to serve.
2. Ham rolls
Ingredients:
• 4 buckwheat crêpes
• 6 portions of fresh cheese (such as Carré Frais Gervais)
• 3 thin slices of cooked ham
• 3 thin slices of smoked salmon
• 2 sprigs of dill
Method:
– Spread the cheese over the crêpes. Stack 2 crêpes, lay the ham slices on top, then roll up tightly. Wrap in cling film.
– Repeat with the smoked salmon, adding finely chopped dill. Refrigerate until ready to serve.
– Remove the cling film and cut the rolls into 2 cm rounds. Insert a cocktail stick into each round and serve immediately.
3. Fresh herb cheese lollipops
Ingredients:
• 200 g light fresh cheese (such as Saint Moret or goat’s cheese)
• 4 tbsp chopped fresh herbs (chives, parsley, chervil, basil…)
• 1 tbsp olive oil
• 2 tbsp chopped pistachios
• 1 tbsp paprika
• 1 tbsp toasted sesame seeds
• 2 tbsp chopped hazelnuts
• salt, pepper
Method:
– In a bowl, mash the fresh cheese with a fork. Drizzle with a little olive oil, season with pepper and a pinch of salt. Sprinkle with chopped herbs and mix well.
– Place the pistachios, hazelnuts, paprika and sesame seeds separately in 4 small bowls. Shape 16 small balls of fresh cheese and roll them in each of the 4 bowls.
– Insert a cocktail stick into each ball and serve well chilled.
There you have it — 3 original and crowd-pleasing ideas that are sure to impress your friends 🙂
Don’t forget the classics too: tomato and mozzarella skewers and carrot sticks with a dip made from 0% fat yogurt, balsamic vinegar, salt & pepper.
Today’s exercise
Today, here are 2 exercises to help you sculpt your abs 🙂
Exercise 1: lie on your back and rest your feet on a chair.
Your torso/thighs and thighs/calves should form 90° angles.
Sit up to touch your feet with your hands, then lower back down without resting your upper back on the floor, and repeat immediately.
Complete 3 sets of 20 reps.
Exercise 2: lie on your back and rest your feet on the chair, this time with your legs straight and your lower back pressed flat against the floor.
Bring your knees in towards your chest, then place your feet back on the chair, and repeat.
Complete 2 sets of 20 reps.
Your daily pinch-and-roll massage
To tackle cellulite, the pinch-and-roll technique is one of the most effective massage methods available.
This technique involves kneading the skin to stimulate lipolysis, which helps to release fat from adipose cells while boosting both venous and lymphatic circulation.
These actions help to combat cellulite and the orange-peel effect, as well as reducing water retention. Ideal for eliminating toxins beneath the skin, this massage can be performed using a device, by a professional, or by hand.
The movement should always go from bottom to top to support circulation. Although this technique can sometimes feel intense, it is remarkably effective against all types of cellulite. A few basic principles should nonetheless be followed:
The massage should always be performed on skin that has been oiled beforehand.
The pinch-and-roll technique should never be used on broken or wounded skin, as this could worsen injuries and interfere with healing.
The CelluBlue method:
